Yesterday my heart nearly burst — Gio (Uppercut Daydream Believers with Feorlig) was awarded Best in Show at the Windsor Championship Show 🏆✨
Thank you to the judges Mrs Lynn Crane , Mr Jussi Liimatainen and Mrs Zena Thorn Andrews for spotting her in what were some amazing line ups and seeing the qualities we see in her.
Her name has always made people smile, but there’s something quite beautiful about it, too. An uppercut — in boxing — is a sudden, upward strike. Sharp. Precise. Unexpected. And that’s exactly what Gio is… not in a harsh way, but in the way she rises.
She doesn’t shout for attention. She glides, she gleams, and then — without warning — she steals the show with a flash of brilliance that lifts the whole ring. That’s her uppercut. That quiet force. That joyful surprise. 💫
And Daydream Believers? That’s for us — the ones who keep showing up with love, hoping, working, believing in magic with wings.
Today, our dream landed softly, but oh-so-powerfully.
